MOCASD Keepin' It Real Exhibition

I learned a ton about all the effects of social media and how humans interact with each other. I learned this through all of the research and reading when we did annotations. We created a video about how the world is with and without the influence of cell phones and social media. We chose this project when we were coming up with ideas on how we cold send a message to the world. We thought it would be a great idea to focus more toward our generation since we would relate more. We also chose how we made the project based on irony and that we should actually post it on some form of electronic or social media. I am glad at seeing this as our final project in the exhibition because I feel like we did a great job expressing our message. I feel very proud of our final product but not so much on participation. While our product was good for what we were trying to say, I felt like there was more we could put in and more I could do help. We probably could have improved our audio and the content of the video. To me it was a little too bland and not so much quality in it. Overall at the exhibition, I think I did pretty well with the oral communication. All of my ideas and answers were on index cards I held in my hand. My pace and prosody were all pretty good. I think the only thing I needed to work on was my volume and physicality. I could barely here myself since it was so loud in there and I also don't like to make eye contact with people.
